You would think I'd be setting myself up for disappointment by calling my best day of the year before it happens, but Fourth of July never fails. Check out the cake Corinne and I made to celebrate! The day including a beach party, a dinner party and an after party at the rooftop Crowbar complete with fireworks and dancing. Tommy surprised many with his singing and dancing, but not me.

Are you impressed by our cake?? We were practically peeing on ourselves with excitement when we dramatically sliced into it for the big reveal. I'm sure you can imagine.

I am LOVING these pics. Almost as much as I loved that cake. But, definitely not quite as much as I loved Bone's serenade to you. I don't think anything could top that.

I am a friend of Carrie's (er...Corrine...) and she sent me this link. Cake lives up to the hype and then some. And this blog/background is fantastic!

This morning, I have been showing it off to everyone at work. I wonder if it made it all the way back to Miami in that ziploc bag?

Great blog Ruthie and cool idea for the cake. I'm taking some credit from afar for a teeny part of it--I named her Corinne, taught her to bake (sort of) and bought that magical pan. Should I send you one?
